The slab is formed into coil or sheet. Coil is further converted in processing centers that require hydraulic unions for actuation of mandrels.

众所周知，连铸机中的旋转接头工作条件极其恶劣：流经的冷却水质量非常差，大多未经过滤，并带有对旋转接头有研磨作用的颗粒。周围空气中的污垢也会沉积在系统的某些部件上，并容易与机器内的旋转部件接触。最后，还存在施加在“旋转联管辊”系统上的机械应变，例如未100%对齐的部件。It is well known that rotating unions in continuous casting plants operate under extremely tough conditions: The cooling water flowing through is of very poor quality, mostly unfiltered and it brings with it particles which have an abrasive effect on the rotating union. Dirt from the surrounding air also settles on parts of the system and easily comes into contact with the rotating parts within the machine. Finally, there is also the mechanical strain which is exerted on the “rotating union roller” system, such as components which are not 100% aligned.

Maintenance can be carried out in minutes, even by less qualified staff!The complete housing compatibility of the Series 2000 has been retained, in order that “replacement costs” are not incurred during the switchover.
